Family motto
ci rialziamo e siamo
we rise and we are
Casa di Pasarella
Casa di Pasarella does not come from tradition.
It begins with a decision made by one person,
me, Michael Pasarella.
I refused to keep carrying a name that held more weight than belonging. I grew up in an environment shaped by chaos and fear, where even language could wound. For a long time, the echoes of that childhood lived inside my name. Even while creating, building and moving forward, the past sat quietly in the corners.
At some point I realised something simple. I did not have to pass that weight forward. I could stop the pattern instead of continuing it. I could shape a family line rather than inherit one.
Casa di Pasarella is that turning point, a family that begins with a choice rather than an accident.

What this family stands for
Casa di Pasarella stands for getting back up.
Not in a dramatic or heroic way,
but in the way real people rise
with memory, with doubt, with bruises
and still stand.
It stands for presence. For the right to exist without apology. For taking up space after years of feeling smaller than truth.
It stands for quiet strength. For honesty over silence. For dignity that is earned, not claimed.
These are not abstract ideas. They are the foundation I wish to build for everything and everyone that comes after me.

About the founder
The family line begins with me,
but the story is larger than one person.
I grew up with chaos, but learned clarity. I grew up with fear, but learned empathy. I grew up with darkness, but learned how to work with light.
In my work as a photographer, writer and filmmaker, I have always tried to turn experience into meaning and pain into expression. Casa di Pasarella continues that transformation in the most personal way I know.
This name is not an escape from the past. It is a way of refusing to let the past define the future.

WE GET BACK UP
WE STAY PRESENT
WE EXIST WITHOUT APOLOGY

The future of this family
Casa di Pasarella is a clean beginning.
A name meant to hold warmth and protection.
A name that future children, if they come, should carry without fear.
A name built on honesty, care and the freedom to be fully human.
If one day they ask what does our name mean? The answer should be simple. We get back up. We protect each other. We try to be kind. We turn pain into something that helps others breathe easier.
Casa di Pasarella begins with me but it is not meant to end with me.
